Why Walks in Greece Are Never Short

It’s always the same.
It’s supposed to be a short walk.
Because, let’s be honest — pugs are not exactly built for long distances.

And yet somehow, Dad never seems to understand this.

Jojo:
I sometimes think Dad doesn’t quite belong here…

Jabba:
Oh come on, Jojo, what now?

Jojo:
Does he realise I’m not an olympic athlete?

That walks are meant for necessities…

or for napping later, in a café?
Not for cleaning beaches?

Jabba:
But I love cleaning the beach!
There are so many wonderful things to find.
And sometimes even extra snacks!

Jojo:
Okay, that part I’ll give you.

But the entire beach?

Every single day?

Have you noticed how people look at him?

Jabba:
You’re right.
That’s actually the funniest part.
Because you know how much I love this beautiful country…
but the mindless littering…

Jojo:
And that makes you laugh, Jabba?

Jabba:
A little.
Because humans are supposed to be such clever creatures,
yet they still don’t realise that if everyone cleaned up after themselves,
we wouldn’t have to do it for them.

Jojo:
…and we would have been napping in our favourite café hours ago.
